Harman Library

Hello Harman families!

I'm Ms. Ford, your Harman librarian.  This will be my ninth year in the Oakwood City Schools. Student's weekly time in the library has changed significantly in the last nine years.  Digital Citizenship, keyboarding programs, Playaway Bookpacks, The Lumberjack Reading List,  and most recently the Sora app, which allows our students to discover and enjoy digital and audio books, are just a few of the things that we've added to enhance our media time.  I have a passion for reading and I hope to ignite that in my students.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions,  comments or concerns!

Harman Wall of Fame

Congratulations to all Harman Wall of Famers for 2020-2021!   Every year, I am amazed at the way each of you individually dive into the Lumberjack Reading List challenge in your own unique way.  Some of you finish all thirteen titles in the first few weeks of school.  Others were turning the last pages and giving their Flipgrid summaries just this past week.  I always tell you "it is a journey, not a race" and I could not be more proud of each of you.  At my finish line, you are all winners!

Love,
Ms. Ford
