Hello Harman families!
I'm Ms. Ford, your Harman librarian. This will be my ninth year in the Oakwood City Schools. Student's weekly time in the library has changed significantly in the last nine years. Digital Citizenship, Keyboarding Without Tears, Playaway Bookpacks, The Lumberjack Reading List, and most recently the Sora app, which allows our students to discover and enjoy digital and audio books, are just a few of the things that we've added to enhance our media time. I have a passion for reading and I hope to ignite that in my students. Please feel free to contact me with any questions, comments or concerns!
It's easier than ever to access all of the important sections of your Harman Library. You can click on the links below to visit these great sites!

The books have been read and the votes counted!
"Mustaches for Maddie" is Harman's Favorite Book of the Year for the 2019-2020 school year. All LRL books were in the running for the title. This year, students who had read at least six LRL titles were eligible to vote.
Later this month, we will recognize all of the Harman students who achieved Wall of Fame status. If you would like to know more about "Mustaches for Maddie," check out http://www.mustachesformaddie.com/
Congratulations to all Harman Wall of Famers for 2019-2020! Every year, I am amazed at the way each of you individually dive into the Lumberjack Reading List challenge in your own unique way. Some of you finish all thirteen titles in the first few weeks of school. Others were turning the last pages and giving their Flipgrid summaries just this past week. I always tell you "it is a journey, not a race" and I could not be more proud of each of you. At my finish line, you are all winners!
Love, Ms. Ford

Congratulations to all students who participated.
