Harman Library

Hello Harman Families!

I'm Ms. Ford, your Harman School librarian and I'm excited to begin my 11th year in the Oakwood City Schools.

My biggest priority is developing a love of literature and personal reading preferences throughout student's years at Harman.  In addition, we will develop proper keyboarding skills using Typing Club and explore age appropriate topics in Digital Citizenship.

Fourth through sixth graders are encouraged to participate in the recreational reading challenge, The Lumberjack Reading List.  Check out the video below for this year's titles.

Students will also have the opportunity to check out digital and audio books from our digital library, Mackin Via.  I look forward to a great year and hope my passion for reading ignites that same spark in all students.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions,  comments or concern
