OHS field hockey will join in the fight against cancer Tuesday, Sept. 26 at Lane Stadium during the 7 p.m. varsity game. Everyone is invited to attend the game and the luminaria ceremony immediately following to honor family and friends affected by cancer.

Players are seeking donations prior to the game and will be selling luminarias for $4 each or 6 for $20 at the event.  Attendees can purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win several gift baskets as well.  

For more than 100 years, Oakwood High School field hockey has given young women athletic opportunities, and this year the team is asking for community support to hit, flick, push and drive away cancer.
